Welcome to Conneaut Creek Kennels... located in northeast Ohio, on the banks of the historic Conneaut Creek.

Irish red setters bred to be bird dogs, first and foremost

Our breeding program selects dogs with intelligence to handle wild birds, keen noses to find game, emphasis on proper gait and biomechanics for stamina and endurance, and class for good looks.

Our kennel is honored to be a part of  the Purest Challenge of the National Red Setter Field Trial Club.  We utilize the Breed Standard of the NRSFTC in directing our breeding program.

Our red setters are genuine bird dogs.  Our bloodlines are taken strictly from field-tested breeding.  We do not utilize any bench, show-bred lines, or "dual" bloodlines.  Our focus is on traits that provide strong hunting desire, stamina, class, style, and temperament.
